The matcha boom has reached Playmobil Town. A cafe started a matcha fair and very soon the news spread around town. People in the town can now enjoy the matcha sweets and drinks at home too!
Even among children the matcha topic pops up at school.
Mia – “Listen! I went to a matcha cafe with my grandad on Sunday. It was lovely. You should go there with your grandad. My grandad loved it.”
Lily – “No way! My grandad is Mr. Stubborn and he hates sweets!”
Mia – “He might like matcha as a drink, as is quite bitter.”
One day… Mr. Stubborn (Lily’s grandad) went to a cafe and ordered the black coffee as always he did, but the cafe staff said “We are very sorry sir, we’re doing a matcha fair and we’ve run out of coffee. We can only serve matcha but you can get a free matcha cake.” He reluctantly said “Yes.”
Do you know what happened to him? After that he secretly fell in love with matcha sweets! Almost every day he tried to have the ‘All Matcha Menu’.
A few weeks later…Lily and her grandma were wondering why Lily’s grandad suddenly got toothache and he had to go to see a dentist…
