Shiba Inu and Akita Inu are two dog breeds from Japan. Akita Inu is bigger than Shiba Inu and its ears are flatter than Shiba Inu. Both are Spitz type of dogs and both were used for hunting in the past.
Hachiko, the dog who waited for his owner for many years even after his owner had died, was an Akita Dog and his statue is in front of Shibuya Station.
